After trying to fit some cold air ducting i noticed smoke coming from the enigine & found the cap to this part has been snapped off & the nut underneath is sparking on the metal ducting i'm using.
Anyone have any idea of what the part is so i can order a new one, it's just a small grey plastic cover over a wire & Nut which is hinged to allow access to the nut. Cheers -------------------- My Celica Is Now For Sale

I think he might be talking about one of the wires coming out of the starter. during my swap, i snapped this off too and needed to replace the starter...
EDIT: I snapped off the other peice, the one he is talking about is just the plastic cover over the starter power wire, where it bolts onto the starter.. i might actually have this lemme check when i get home on wednesday. This post has been edited by jcbass7: Nov 19, 2006 - 6:39 PM |

yeah i think thats the bit it's just a clip together casing that goes over the bolt & wire to stop sparking. I got one off a ST in salvage & it had a different power rating embosed & didn't fit
Found a better pic on Google. This post has been edited by Alex-UKSC: Nov 19, 2006 - 7:21 PM -------------------- My Celica Is Now For Sale
