Going in for paint this time, getting done by PROFESSIONALS this time...no gaps this time. lol.
Here's the car as of now. As you can see, when we installed the body kit, we just somewhat threw it on there just so it would be on there and out of the garage. The body shop is fixing ALL gaps, and finishing molding the rear bumper. So it will be flawless. Im going to Tint the high beams also to get rid of that unsightly deterioration on the Driver side and the lip around the headlights will be glossy black. Im Stoked. Im getting all this done for 1300 because ive already bought all the supples, paint, etc. -------------------- Cuz Thats How Us Country Boyz Roll Growing up racing motocross, i learned one thing..."Always wear clean underwear, you never know when the Paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off of you" |

I think im going to leave it the way it is and then if i dont like it, ill have it painted seperately. thanks for the positive support. -------------------- Cuz Thats How Us Country Boyz Roll Growing up racing motocross, i learned one thing..."Always wear clean underwear, you never know when the Paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off of you" |

well, not much really to show, but i did get some pics today.
The last 2 days he's been working on the quarter panels molding the rear bumper and wet sanding the fenders. He put the wheels back on it and rolled it outta the shop and we sanded the doors and fenders somewhat. Most of his work has been on my dirty work on the molded rear bumper. It looks so sad. lol. molding the rear bumper. ugh. nasty. the only celica with herpes. what can i say? no matter how i take the picture, it doesnt look hott right now. lol. He's gonna try to have the paint on by friday, so hopefully i can get some HOTT pics then, when she's all put back together and shined up and pretty. -The Kent -------------------- Cuz Thats How Us Country Boyz Roll Growing up racing motocross, i learned one thing..."Always wear clean underwear, you never know when the Paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off of you" |

how much is it costing you to have just the rear bumper and sideskirts molded? if you don't mind me asking (I know you said 1300 for everything, but I was wondering if you know how much he's charging for each individual thing)

He never said. Were not molding the sideskirts due to the fact that they drag on things from time to time, which could cause it to crack. But as far as the individual rear bumper, i dont know. -------------------- Cuz Thats How Us Country Boyz Roll Growing up racing motocross, i learned one thing..."Always wear clean underwear, you never know when the Paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off of you" |

you might wanna paint the car seperate from the sideskirts. cus if you decide to take of the skirts, it will show your original color. Well, it might not matter cus you are molding your bumpers on, everything looks like its gonna be permanent.
