does anyone else belt make noise when you turn on the a/c?? i assume its the a/c belt.

yeah, is it a sort of squeeking noise? 90% possibility its the a/c belt. You might be able to just tighten it, or you could buy a new one, they should only be a few bucks.

depends on the noise.......

which is covered by the "when they are in good condition"
reading comprehension > u the compressor if bad will also make a noise, and if yours has a clutch that could be the problem too.. even when the a/c is off the belt spins :rollseyes: so if it were loose it would make noise 24/7 which i'm not ruling out a loose belt.....too many of u e-mechs say its 1 thing...and u can't diagnose it down to 1 certain thing without actually seeing the car...so variety of options helps someone asking a question |
