So you don't have any instructions as to which wire does what? I think on mine (mine's a Varad unit), I had three wires, one for ground, one for +12v, and one that goes to the grounded output when armed wire on your alarm.

If you don't have instructions and can't get them, I'd guess red is +12v, black is ground, and blue is the switch wire that goes to the grounded output when armed wire of your alarm. But don't take my word for it...try hooking up your red wire to a fuse and then to your battery and the black to ground. Then touch the blue wire to ground and see if the scanner starts working.

Also, you can test your alarm wires to see which wire becomes grounded once you arm the system. That's the wire you'll want to hook the scanner up to. The wire may already be in use for a starter kill or something.

Edit: According to the wiring diagram on the back of your unit (pictured in that eBay auction,) your grounded output when armed wire should be orange. But test to be sure.
