Im just about ready to get my engine swapped i've found a shop to do it and have the cash...i only have one problem, no engine yet. Im looking for a place to buy a complete front st205 clip, i don't really want to deal with shipping so im trying to find a shop in california (so cal preferably). So any of you guys who have swapped here in cali, where did you get your front clips?? Know any good places to get an mr2 tranny as well??

Thanks

Try:

Ron@Motors Unlimited: 951-283-3778

or

C&T Engine: http://www.ctjengines.com/

I've had good dealings with both (I got my ST205 from Ron and I know Dennis at C&T)

I got mine from here: http://www.soshinusa.com/default2.asp they also had a mr2 turbo trans. so i picked that up there too. ask for eddie, he is probably the only one that knows his stuff and would be of good help.

I paid 2100 for a 2nd gen clip. It had a perfect hood, fenders headlights and a few other things that i sold and made my money back on. smile.gif

Can't really say how much im gettin the swap done for...they don't want me to say. But i can tell you where, im gonna get it done at C-Tune Motorsports in walnut. They build mainly drift cars(240's, AE86 etc) but i talked to the guy at the shop and he new more about celicas than i did, hell even tried to convince me to do an AWD conversion!!! Im pretty confident they will do an awesome job
