X-mas ideas for the bf? Options

So we made a limit of 75 dollars since hes trying to pay off debt and in the past two months ive paid for a lot of our dates since I make twice as much as him and he feels really bad cuz for about 4 more months he wont be able to really spend money cuz of his debt. Anyways any ideas on what to get him?? He mentioned hats but those are 25 a pop so i was thinking of getting him 2 but theres 50 bucks right there. I wish I could get him a Wii but i cant find one plus i dont wanna spend 300 bucks when I need money myself! :-)

I wanna do something fun and cute and creative. We have taken pics but its always just me holding the camera arms length and taking it so you never see much more than our faces. So i dont think I can really do anything with the pics of ours - plus I hate them all! :-P


Any ideas?

PS - hes not into cars. hes more of a truck guy but i dont wanna get anythign car related.

Also i dont knwo what to ask for from him cuz all I want is expensive and all I really want is a weekend with him cuz we dont have the same days off. :-( but i odnt wanna be the rude gf who says theres nothign i want for under 75 bucks. Any ideas?

I feel bad cuz were both opposites. I grew up getting my way and in a nice city and he grew up in a small town where everyone knows eachother and they go bowling atleast twice a week. i wanna be wined and dined and he is happy to just sit on the couch which i like to do too but i want to experience wine tasting over in the east of the state and stuff.

well it's all about compromising *sp* instead of a nice $200 hotel room, pick a $150 or lower room, cheaper but still good. spend the $50 on a nice bottle of wine and sit on the hotel sofa enjoyin it and spend the xmas night just the both of you. when you guys are done with the wine. go bowling lol

probably not going to work cuz he spends x-mas with his family where as I dont. My family is so small that we dont do anything now that were older.

Plus i dont drink wine cuz i hate it but i wanna go wine tasting lol. Idk..it just sucks that money is an issue :-(

well it'll all be good as long as you both get to spend it together... hotels, wine tasting, bowling it all doesn't matter.. wat matters is "together". i'm sure it'll be better than mine.. all i get to do is change diapers

Its gonna be tough cuz he's in the army and there's certain things he cant have, let a lone take with him... ugh.

haha oh well, at least he'll be home for christmas... thats all i really want. yay!

And not to sound gay or anything, but It means much more to me when my gf tells me how much i mean to her and that she loves me than anything she could EVER buy me.

Guys feel the same way about that stuff, we just dont like to admit it. lol.

I'm making my boyfriend a scrap book with old movie stubs pressed flowers he gave me, pictures and other cute stuff I found around my room and his room. It was cheap too all I had to do was buy the book which was like $10 and some stickers and tape.
We decided we're going to do stocking for each other and than make each others gifts (I'm sure hes not going to follow our rules though). That way the gifts mean more than anything else I could get him because it REALLY came from the heart.

Yeah - depends on the guy and the gift though. Most guys will pretend but not really like the super girly stuff that makes most girls happy. Try to focus on him and what he's about.
And BlackCelicaGT94 - try not to be so stubborn about $200/night hotel rooms and stuff. Im sure he knows that's what you really want and will prob make every effort to accommodate you. But if he cant afford it then that's just it. There are plenty of nice $100/night rooms that would be just fine leaving you with enough money to play around with for dinner or something. If you're not careful you will leave him feeling like he's not good enough for you and that doesn't seem to be the way you feel about it. Nothing feels worse to guy than that. Besides, he's got his head in the right place and once he's out of debt then he will be better able to afford you're more expensive tastes. He'll prob spoil you like you need for months after just to make up for the months of debt payments.

Oh and BTW - Like Supersprynt suggested, Lingerie and a little effort always works well and it can be a gift for both you saving you guys cash on individual gifts.

i keep everything that my girlfreind has ever made me, drawn for me, or somthing that reminds me of somthing special we did in a double binder..Stuck next to my bed..Its marked pokemon card so when the guys come over they dont go into it..lol

my girlfreind want to get me an ipod causes she found the earings i got her..But all i really want her to get me is some camo pants and a good day in the snow(with her of course).

only mine has cost over 300.

lots of pictures, and i had to make copies of them all and i go over board.

I decided to go with the Jets tickets at the end of it as well. I know he will like it.

Ok a little imput from the Christmas Elf. (me)

I like the idea of a little scrapbook.(prob cause im doing it lol) You can do that and leave pages at the end for you to fill. Indicating that you will be together for a long time and all that mushy stuff that i love
You can get gift certificates for things to do together, like movies and dinner, maybe a comedy club around you or something like that. It's a cute idea because its something for both of you.
hmm what else...
Something personal like a watch or something like that, but if you said that he isnt into stuff like that then its a bad idea.
The main thing is that you want to give him something that shows you really care about him and what HE likes. IE the Jets tickets for my boy, I honestly don't want to go to a Jets game on New Years Eve in the freezing cold. I want to get my hair done for new years night and spend a day primping and prepping for the party. BUT i love being with him and i love seeing him happy and i knwo that will make him happy.
