quick question, jdm folders.... sticky already read Options

the switch that i got that goes into the door does not have a pink wire. from what ive read on the sticky, all the work done on the jdm folders were on the older system, which involved having a pink wire on the switch unit that hooks up to the mirror control/relay box thingy.

Also from what ive gathered, this could be totally wrong, if the switch that goes onto the door doesnt have a pink wire, a mirror control box/relays are not needed, right? also the main diffrence in appearance between the old one which needs the mirror control box and the new which doesnt is that fact that the new one has the lack of a pink wire on the swtich and the button is square?

well after rereading the sticky a few times and reading some pm replys i decided to go out side and try to run power to the mirrors with now control box and weeeeeeeeee it worked.

no pink wire on the switch = no need for the control box.

i got super lucky the seller must have pull a control box off of another celica. so that will go on the sales forum or ebay.
