1.My windshield wiper doesn't go all the way down when you turn it off. It stays where you stop it. I can't figure whats wrong with it. I changed out the relay on it on the passenger quarter panel. But my rear windshild wiper works fine.
2. My horn doesn't work... 3. My blower turns on even when my ac controler is on off. It starts on when its on acc. I called in from work just to fix my car. I fixed some other electrical problems but other than that im pooped out. Could this problem occur if you don't have any headlights? This is with no headlights or bulb for it. i traded my headlights for some projectors. Also if you look at the windshield wipers its not going back down to where its suppose to be. And i hear a click at the passenger side relay at the quarter panel. it clicks everytime i turn it on and off.
This is how it looks right now. I check the wires back and forth, god forbid how many times. but im exhausted tring to mess with it. everything is in the right place. Iono where that one plug goes, but could u tell me where? (the grey plug) This post has been edited by My2Celi: Oct 28, 2006 - 3:34 PM -------------------- <--- I miss :'' (

i'm guessing the blower is always on because the cc_unit has 2 control wires (black and blue). with the cc_unit not anchored i'd think one or both of those wires would be pushed/pulled.
if the wires are un-attached then check the switches that the wires control, and manually turn them while everything is on to see if it makes a difference. the blue one is down and to the right on the drivers side. the black one is in the engine bay on the drivers side sorta high. good luck |

I just checked it all this morning. They all seem to be in the right spot. Theres no other way you can interchange those plugs. it's not normal for it to stay on all the time is it?
heres the pix batman This post has been edited by My2Celi: Oct 29, 2006 - 1:39 PM -------------------- <--- I miss :'' (

did you do any work to the car prior to the problems? also, did all of these symptoms occur at the same time, possibly a common cause between them?

well it all started with this post. link]
The pix are at the bottom. But ill make it short. it started burning from the cruise control box which is the white and black wire. I changed out the control box and the wiring harness from another 96 celica gt. The harness was cut, so i took it and splice into the right wires. i quadruple checked or more to make sure and it is right. so iono whats wrong now. -------------------- <--- I miss :'' (

not normal for the fan to be on all the time. and now that i think about it the fan is a wiring harness and not a control wire, isn't it. doh, nm, i got no clue.

OK here we go....
I think I have solved your problems the wipers and the horn have one plug in common, plug C13. Check it, make sure it's secure, ect...that has to be it. Also, the mystery plug, that's just for an amp (for the premium sound system) don't worry about it. here's a pic of where you need to check bigger pic check it tomorrow and let me know if you still want the book -------------------- |
