just search for members rides with them and you will find what you're looking for. Despite being a new member, use the search function within the threads and members ride area. It will prove to be very helpful. I believe I'm correct in saying that you CANNOT put a wiper back on.... It weighs too much for the fiberglass and carbon fiber

I believe installing the wing in the correct manner will have no problem for the cf hatch.

you can only install a wing if you reinforce the entire back section by the wing by running a metal plate under it....we talked to VIS about it when we had them made and they said NO wing w/o extra reinforcements

yeah, put a plate in first and you should be fine for a wing or wiper.

You cannot screw direct into fibre as the thread would not hold. If a metal plate was installed during the manufacturing process then you could screw into it, but if not then you would have to sandwich the plate between the bolt head and the hatch.

i.e. the wing should have threads for the bolts to fasten to, so sandwich as follows - wing - hatch - metal plate - bolt. This is so the metal plate is spreading the force of the bolt heads over a larger area of the fibre.

Just a question:
If the hatch can't even hold a wiper how is it supposed to hold glass over a long period of time that includes the shock of multiple potholes etc.? Doesn't seem safe to me. Also this option only saves weight on the rear of the car further muddying the front to rear weight difference.
