6th gens are rare in my area. Really rare, I've never seen a modded one, and I get that "Whoah, when did they come out with this?" comment quite a bit. I have a better chance of seeing a ferrari than a 6th gen.
But this weekend, I was drivin home and in the opposite lane was another red convertible just like mine. We're both driving with the top down, and the person waves her hand at me and surpised I wave mine back. Then today just 5 minutes ago, I'm taking out the garbage and anothe red convertible pulls up and parks on the street. I take a second look, to make sure my car is in my driveway, and ask if it's a 6th gen celica (of course it is). So I stood outside for like 15 minutes shooting car talk. The car is his moms and he has an rx7 that's modded and not working (rotary...figures), and it's just cool. So that's why I love celica people. |
