Ok guys my gf's celica has been having its problems lately. So the symptoms. She told me after the car wont start that at times the car would sputter and loose power while taking off but then gain power once driving, but then when i drove it last, i start it which was fine, put in reverse and it died. So i try starting it but just cranks but no fire. So i go to the local autostore pick up 4 new ngk sparkplugs and installed but still no fire. I suspect the coil or fuel pump being bad, but would like any more feedback from you guys

Thnx!

distributor and rotor are cheap (<$20) and depending on when they were last changed (if ever) are probably due anyway. it fixed my problem. you can test the fuel pump by borrowing a fuel pressure tester from autozone (about a $150 deposit) I recently had that problem and it fixed it for me. I have a thread about it somewhere on here.
