UPDATE:
I am so frustrated with the car right now... A wiring issue i am having is causing the alt not to charge (see my thread in engine/mat) Its such a pain in the but for me to get home from school to try and fix this... my school is two hours away and its a military prep school so its almost impossible for me to get the whole weekend off to just come home and work on the car... It used to be at school with me until the issues happened and I had to leave it at home since i couldn't make the drive with it... I really don't know when i can even work on it again... and come July 2nd i won't have the car on the road for 3 years.............................. so i really want to be driving it as much as possible until then.. its just so depressing knowing i can't drive it soon and it won't even work when i can... especially after all the $$$$$ and time ive put into this thing... venting......... |

That sucks Jesse, but all I can say is be patient with it. Other than that I hope you get everything figured out and everything works out for ya.

You can do it dude. Just get the issues taken care of. Then worry about cleaning it up.
I'd love to see another 3s make it to the meet. -------------------- I will return one day. |

QUOTE(lagos @ Feb 10, 2007 - 10:14 PM) can you make a vid of those prosports in action? are they easy to see during the day? Sorry for OT, but Lagos you can see it e.g. here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5n4NAvlzXA...ted&search= There are some vids on youtube, try looking around. It seems the gauges when switched on have a few backlight modes. The bright white one seems to be the one with your lights on. Looks best IMO. -------------------- '96 Celica GT, 16" AEF alloys, Eibach springs by Toyota Team Europe, TENZO Air intake, Chiptuning, GT4 design by Postert

Jesse,
I've been reading this thread on and off all afternoon (inbetween working of course) and I'm amazed at how much you've achieved with that car of yours. You obviously know your stuff whereas I on the other hand can't even find out why my engine cooling fan ain't working! Keep up the good work, you're an inspiration to us all! After reading Coomer's incredible engine bay renovation thread I was instantly inspired... since.... my engine bay looks awful..
here are some shots.... what would you suggest first? (i don't have as much time, so these things need to be simple and cheap.. lol) Its obvious that i need to: mount that rubber piece along the top of the hood clean up the wiring for the gauge senders..... yea i know its ugly paint the windshield wipers! PS: FMIC going in this week (knock on wood) |

Today i started by..
taking off the hood and such and then got sidetracked and fabricated a shorter more discrete coolant refill its made out of the neck of an engine coolant res that i had from my parts car anywho, ill paint it black and see how it works.. the neck fits perfectly snug with the grommet on the coolant res |
