I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

ugh I think I'm in the 5,000 to 7,500 range...

Lets see where to begin...

Alarm system - 850
Subwoofers - 800
Body Kit - 750
New Paint Job - 1,500
Body Shop work - 2,500
17" Rims - 850
*New* CD player/speakers - 1,000
Curren Tails - 275
Custom Turn Signals - 70
Clear Side Markers - 50

so... thats most of it... I think...

So thats adds up to a nice... about $8,645.... So I guess I was wrong... about my vote... Maybe I shoulda added it up before I voted... So I'm actually in the 7500-10,000 range...

Thats not even including matenience and crap... Cuz with that... then who knows... O_o But holy crap... My car didnt even cost as much as the sh*t I put into it...

I hate myself now...

$0 in upgrades.

to me, the 6th gen isn't worth it. i shouldn't have to swap a motor to get performance out of a car. it makes a great daily driver, maintenance is easy & cheap and it looks pretty good stock.

besides, when you dump money in to a car, 99.9% of the time you never see it again. i'm actually hoping to get some cash for my celica when i'm done using it.

No offense to you or other ST owners but could it be because you bought the low model of like 4 different engine options? What did you expect?

... Well maybe if we lived anywhere other than the US we might have the chance of 4 engine options, but as we all know, there were only 2 engine options in the US. AND I wanted a Celica, I didn't care about the engine size. I expected nothing other than a nice car and that is what I got. I'm sorry if you only see displacement.

Yeah but I don't see you complaining about how slow you're ST is. It just irks me when ST owners complain about how slow the Celica is when they have the small displacement engine. The GT is not as slow as people act like it is. Is it as fast as a corvette? Of course not but it's alot faster than many cars people modify out there. And the 3S-GE BEAMS and the 3S-GTE GT4's are not slow by most people's standards. Those engines are still available to us - it's just a matter of how bad do you really want performance.
All I'm saying is - don't get mad because of the sour taste when you knew you were buying a lime in the first place.
