Upgraded the horn today. The wimpy horn on the 6gc has annoyed me since day one, so when I came across a Celica at the scrapy with an upgraded horn, i unbolted it. Got the horn for free as I had some more expensive items in my basket wink.gif

It is a Mitsuba Arena horn. Okay, my car still doesn't go ARRUGAH! like it should, but it doesn't go *toot* *toot* anymore either. Recovering from 'flu, but feeling a little better today so decided I was up to it. Took all of about 20 mins including the ritual Searching For The Right Tool.

Another option would have been to obtain the JDM Premium Horn kit for approx. £55.

Very good mod. 6gc horns sound like they belong on mopeds. I think every owner (at least male heterosexual owners) should remove their horn and burn it.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Do all celicas have the same horns or are there differences between the ST202, ST204, and ST205? USDM vs JDM difference?

Well there are only two wires per horn, so three or four insulated crimp connectors would do the job if the supplied connectors don't fit. It'll take longer to physically swap them than get the electrics working I would have thought.
