So there's a lady whos selling what she says is a 97 celica limited edition, and it's a hatchback. I'm going to go look at it, but it's a few hours north of me, so I want to make sure I know what's with this model. The lim ed. only came ST as a hatch, right? Also, I looked up a pic and they don't seem to have the GT 96+ sideskirts, is that right? And if it is what she says it is, shouldn't the seats say "celica" on them? I'd really appreciate any info you guys to could give me...

97 ltds where st hatches and gt verts. Some have Celica stiched into
the seats some don't, some have leather, some have cloth. It has full
power options, gt wheels, it is not recognized in kelly or NADA as anything
more than an st. If it is green like hurleys and mine that color was only
put on our cars in 97, unique to the 97 ltd. The rumour is they made 3500
st hatches and 1500 verts. Pay regular ST price and you should come out
good. smile.gif

what he said.

Side skirts, sun roof are optional. You also will see the dragon badge on the roof right behind the mid mirror.... bla bla bla...

Basically, it's a ST. Don't let ANYONE mistaken it as a GT.

Quote from wikipedia:
To celebrate 25 years of Celica, the SS-I and SS-III Special Edition were released in Japan, and the 25th Anniversary ST Limited and GT Convertible marked this occasion in the USA.

Thanks for the info. Well, I might be buying one later today...it's a really good deal, so we'll see. Sadly, no, it's not green. kindasad.gif
