Just wondering if anyone has tried out a single pod mount for a steering column? I assume no one makes one for our car.. but was wondering if anybody had tried types for other cars..
I'm talking about the OEM looking ones that are not just a single swivel pod, example: NOT talking about this: Just floating some ideas out there! If no one has made or tried one, will need to go custom.. -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

check this place here
http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/column_pods.html ^^ you'll either have to get one of those and make it fit or get a spare top streering column (from someone parting out) and mold in one of these or just screw that on the top -------------------- |

i like that idea. sounds kool. would be pretty cool to get the gauge set-up like the hondas do around the gauge cluster where the gauges sit at the bottom right and bottom left of the cluster as well. I'm not sure how that would look though.

I will probably go custom if it can be done well, and not half ass. We'll see.. -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

I think it'll fit fine and gauge cluster visability wouldn't really be affected. They make ones like you want for VWs and I've seen them in car, I think the celi would be just fine

actually you'd probably be pretty good getting a VW jetta gauge pod mount.
i use one for my boost gauge on my jetta and i love it, easy to see the gauge, easy to see the rest of my cluster...and i'm pretty sure it will just slide onto a celica column or need minor modifications http://www.eiptuning.com/ecomm/products.php?cat=78 |
