Ok,I have 2 questions. If any of you guys have the GReddy exhaust for the celica on your car is it worth it? Does it make the car sound anything remotely similar to a lawn mower? Or is it a good sound for 300 bucks. And also, when I turn my car on I get alot of smoke out of my exhaust. It stops after a few seconds I was just wondering if you guys would have any clues. Thanks!!

the smoke is just built up moisture in your car burning off and is completly normal and your car is fine! As for the greddy question I dont know...

the greddy system is the best bang for your buck as far as exhaust systems go. some people may argue custom is better... but it all depends how the custom is done, what pipe is used, and above all, how much you want to spend on the muffler alone... and plus custom you never are 100% sure on how it will sound untill its on because exhaust systems/mufflers sound alot different on different cars. anyways the Greddy is about as far away from the deranged lawnmower sound as you can get for a 4 cylinder engine, decent power gains as far as an exhaust system is concerned, definatly a great buy. just watch out cuz the chrome tip attracts rust really easily.

I love my greddy, it's got an awesome low pitch tone, but now too low, and i'd definitely not call it whiney in anyway. Speaking of cleaning that chrome tip i problably need to do that tongue.gif hehe. Yea i'd call the greddy an awesome exhaust cuz a lot of other import stuff i hear on cars is always seemingly too high pitched, or way to low / deep. Greddy is just right.... (Kinda like Goldilocks i guess lol)... later...

I love my GReddy. Whoever told you it sounds like a lawnmower must have a pretty beefy lawnmower. It has a nice deep tone and I did notice a little smoother acceleration after installing it, even with the factory manifold. Unfortunately the tip does rust very easily. I keep mine polished with Mother's and it still has small spots of rust on it.

*hugs his Greddy* I love my exhaust and it sounds beastly in my opinion. Not too loud and not too bumble bee like. Its got a nice deep roar but won't get ya pulled over. Plus is howls like a banshie when you just floor it. Popular vote selects Greddy as number 1 exhaust bowdown.gif

Neon pink celica with purple lights and a huge sticker of barney on the side with him mooning everyone. Also, take a giant dildo and run a s2000 whip antenna through it so you have a dildo for an antenna. Oh oh oh oh and HONDA stickers EVERYWHERE!

The only thing I don't like about the greddy is the exhaust. I painted the inside, nothing bad. I'd suggest doing it as soon as you get it.

Mine just blackened up in a week or two and it is now rust protected, I think.....Horsepowerfreaks.com sells the Greddy exhaust for like $365.

What products would you use to clean the rust off the tip?

If it rusts, it rusts. There isn't really anything you can do about it. Some of the spots on mine that I thought were rust turned out to be dirt that didn't come off until I scratched it with my fingernail. But there are other spots that won't come off that I'm convinced are rust.

The only advice I can give is to clean and polish the tip every few days.
