6 speaker wiring, havent really found a good topic on this Options

Ok, I bought a new head unit for the celi and i have the 6 speaker system in my vehicle (the tweeters next the the side mirrors, the door speakers, and the rear ones next to the back seats) I bought a wire harness but im skeptical to start since i figured bypassing the stock amp would be the way to go but all the topics that i see on this with people who have the 6 speaker setup have said they could only get 4 speakers to work. Has anyone completed this task successfully or should i try and use a different method? I dont really know alot about audio installation.

i just didnt use the stock amp wires and i have all my six speakers, including the door tweeters. i actually have 6 tweets, front stock speakers, a pair of 6 X 9's in the back, w/ a pair of subs. but i got all my stock speakers to work before i upgraded my system

I ran new cables from the head unit to the cross over for the speakers then ran both the tweeter and main driver cables through the boor flex pipe and into the door, then just connected to each component. works a treate. pm me if you need any questions answered on this topic.

Also when poking cables through the door pipe, use a lenght of 8 gauge power cable as its a little sturdier going from the door side into the car. also to make life easier for you pop the rubber end out of the door as it enables you to compress the rubber pipe giving you a shorter distance to run the cable. you will also find it usefull to remove the kick well plastics to reveal the hole in the side of the car where the cable will be coming from.

once the power cable is poking out of both sides, get some electrical tape and put both speaker cable ends (tweeter and driver) together and tape to the door end of the power cable, now feed carefully through the door, trying not to apply to much presure thus to break the leccy tape link.

An old actuator cable is ideal as a pull rod if you don't have a proper pull rod available (they are dead cheap from electrical wholesalers). The eye helps guide the wire and you can use the actuator mechanism to encourage the eye to get past sticky spots.

This installation is kinda tricky but after you figure it out its really easy. If you have tweeters, don't worry these will still work, don't ask for alot from stock tweets, they actually produce low sound. Rear speakers will work without a doubt. Bottom door speakers you will have to bypass by unplugging the harness located below the climate control into your player. However, you won't have any sound now that goes to those speakers so you might have to run a seperate amp for that. Thats another thing.
