But I'm swapping the TO4B compressor for the TO4E compressor the turbo originally came with but neer fitted. Hence, why I'm getting a custom radiator. hey oobe i have the to4e in mine if you use a honda manifold you wont have to use a costom radiator , look in my profile to see for youself ,and the header style mani from the honda will flow better than a log style ,it also will work with the auto as that is what mine is the cost of the honda mani is a little less than a radiator as i tried the log style and costom radiator idea , i found that the stock one works really good and is alot stronger than most other radiators , the only thing i had to do was remove my ac for my down pipe but you would not have to if you run a 2 1/2 pipe but i ran a 3 in i hope i could help some Really? SWEET. I love the look of your manifold. But the man was only charging me $200, and his work is top-notch. He's popular for his radiators and intercoolers...the fast guys here use his stuff. -------------------- |

At last here again with my car at home . My second trip was more "fun" than first (again you may read details here), however what you want to know are details . I have no vids or any special pictures (actually you already have them here from Romas and Tom ). What I have are some notes for you from trip and feelings:
- fuel consumption I measured three times, each different length and style of driving. 1. 410km, sometimes extremely slow (80km/hr) no boosting at all, sometimes high boost (200km/hr just once for few seconds), sometimes low boost 140km/hr or about 100km/hr. Overtaking if needed (lot of times needed ). 37,3 liters consumptioned (so 11lit/100km) 2. 530km, only low boost used, max speed 120km/hr (2-3x 140 in peaks when overtaking), lot of overtakes and boosting. 53,8litres (so 9,8lit/100km) 3. 100km, just 3-4 times boosted (low one). Max speed 100-110km/hr. Almost drive like regulations says (drive like this all the time no speed tickets for sure ). 7,1 liters... - oil consumption seems like nothing. I checked oil 3x (before trip, Warsaw, Prague) and perfect... I have found only this "leaking" point... but seems nothing serious - exhaust loudness driving by regulations it's amazing. Just bit louder than stock. When boosting and pushing it's like jet plane . Just kidding. It's louder, but nothing extreme. - small annoyingnesses and foolishness 1. because of richer fuel mixture sometimes exhaust "shots" (boom sound when you release and push gas pedal) 2. sometimes fuel pressure gauge knocking really loud (even louder than exhaust and turbine when boosting at high rpms) 3. don't like color of gauges... They just don't much together with color of interior now I must find black glow gauges for my dash... or change gauges from black to white (just kidding, I'll not touch gauges, black glows would be better ) 4. my "7AFE red top beams" is gone... . hmm... time to devise something new... just move forward. "7AFTE silver top... beams"??? must be beams.. its SS-III replica . and... it actually is breakthrough engine with advanced mechanism system, right? edit (a week ago): 7AFTE silver top "Beams" finished... yea... . 5. that boost force is killing . It's unbelievable change... so... it's too much power at once This post has been edited by malpaso: Feb 10, 2007 - 11:28 AM -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

QUOTE(TomPoz @ Feb 3, 2007 - 2:58 PM) Martin already drove away to Prague. But I managed to give his "SS-III T" a spin - nice experience, almost like driving GT4. We also did some photo shooting. Few pics below. Martin's Celica stand-alone: ... And in good company: ... The butts (notice the exhausts ): ... 7AFTE vs. 3SGTE: ... And some off-topic: Martin and Blanka in the middle of my "family battleground": ... Martin and Blanka trying to understand what my daughter is telling them: ... Tomasz, it was amazing and pleasant experience meet your family. Big thanks to you for all care and huge respect how you can handle family life. Since now you are my biggest beau-ideal from that point of view . -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

He made unbelievable job in so few time! And good one! (almost 1100km test ride in two days is hard enough prove of quality IMHO). -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... Thanks, Martin. Anytime in future you have question about "kids handling" - let me know. Don't ask about "wife handling", this is total mystery for me.

That kicking noise Martin - is Boost solenoid Its starts to make the clicking sound once you hit the boost The solution for this - place the rubber gasket under the solenoid (its the black squire box with 2 hoses comininto it). So it wount make the sound at all - gauge doesnt make such big sound The oil "leak" you found - is from the old times already - it was cuz of the damn distributor leaking. So dont worrie
Im glad you made it safe and clear Enjoy the power I will be replien your PM tonight with all the answers. -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

My fuel consumption before was:
7lit/100km highway (exactly my consumption on way to Romas's place) 9lit/100km city... my friend here has also ST and he has 12lit/100km (2/3 highway 1/3 city driving)... I believe it depends on style of driving and condition of engine... p.s.: someone "translate" it please again -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

Tom true is, I can't even remember how ST-nonT was . I just can't imagine don't have 176HP for normal drive . So ST-T has been perfect decision to the letter. What is new so far:
- new brake rotors, pads and dot5.1 brake fluid - new TRD sports thermostat - new TRD high pressure radiator cap - new HKS super mega flow air filter replacement - new distributor (stock Denso) - new spark plug wires (NGK) - new Beams plate (so new 7AFTE silver top "Beams" is almost done . Romas must be happy ) will be done (till Parma for sure ): - new springs (maybe shocks also) - new wheels and tires - swap splitters (ChrisC replicas no more) note: also slowly working on interior (white glow gauges are gone now ). I'll post pics when soon (how "soon" depends partially on you ) that's all so far... -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)
