First off, nice to meet everyone. I'm gonna start posting here being as how I'll hopefully own a 6th gen soon lol. My story made short is that for a while i wanted a celica then i got into the whole vtec craze for a while but im back on toyo. heres my questions:

1. Where can i find some good books on toyota performance? tried amazon, nothing.
2. and whats the best way to find a gt- four? are there any private selling sites for them? im not getting my hopes up on getting one but its worth a look.

ok well anyways, thats my introduction. thanks for looking.

Welcome to the site. I hope you exercise the search function while your here wink.gif

1. Toyota and performance don't really go hand in hand- at least in the world of 7A/5S. Check out the parts database.
2.The best way is to go to Japan or Europe. There is a full conversion GT-Four for sale right now in the b/s forum.

If you have a 5s you still have a chance to get some performance out of it. They sell some superchargers or turbochargers for them, then just get the other stuff like shafts, gears, wires, intake, plugs, etc. You might get enough performance out of it. If you get a 3sge or 3sgte one, you are set for performance parts. Now to get a gt-four in the US, start thinking about a swap. Theres no real performance book like they said, but the site has a good amount of information or you can get information because theres a bunch of people here with gt4's, few 3sge's, many 7a and 5s.
