Hello everyone,

After going without my 6th gen for about a year and a half, I finally got another one. I searched for a long time to get one in good condition. Anyway, I found one all the way in Bethesda, Maryland and it looked pretty good so I decided it was worth the trip up there from NC. 800 miles later and lots of driving, I finally have another 6th gen. It was a pretty fun trip, and the scenery in Virginia kept me from getting too bored. I wanted to go to Washington but didn't have the time. I left my house at midnight Friday and got there around 7 am Saturday.

Now, some info about the car. It's a 98 GT 5 speed with 69,000 miles. I'm the second owner so I'm pretty excited cause I've never been the second owner of a vehicle before. Its good to be back driving a Celica; I missed it. The only plans I have as of now is doing a turbo set up possibly in the fall when I have more time and money. Being in college keeps you pretty broke and busy.

And now for some pics...

Washington!!

Oh, I drove from near Charlotte, which is where my hometown is. I'm only in Raleigh during college and I was on break at the time. Thanks for the comments, I like it and I think its a good start for whatever project I decide to do.

its a rubber strip, i had that too, but i also had it on the doors though. that came off soon.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Thanks guys. Yeah the rubber trip is ugly. If you notice in my pics you can see I removed the trim from the doors. I haven't removed the trim from around the wheels, is it hard to do cause I would like to do that next?

Thanks,
Rob
