whenever i start my car i can warm up fine. im in indiana and its like 12 degrees so i warm it up. but when i start driving, the heat goes almost all the way down. when i am at a stand still ill have some heat if i sit long enough, but when i drive only cold air comes out. any ideas?

Thermastat. Mine was doing that after i got it back from the bodyshop. And i could never get heat. Thought at first it was just because of my hood and front bumper. Change your thermastat and it will be hotter then hot lol. Thats how mine is now and i love it wink.gif

I got mine when I was in chicago a month ago for $23 and the gasket was $8 I think from the dealer.

I paid around $16 for the thermostat and the gasket. But i did find out that when i went to get it. I told them i have a 2.2L engine and they got me the part number for it, and it was the wrong size. My thermostat was under the 1.8L when really i have a 2.2 so if you get yours and say its a 2.2 and its to big tell them you need it for 1.8 and they should get the right one lol. (might just be where i got mine from)

for the 1994 2.2L the part # for the thermostat is 90916-03046, about $15 from a Toyota dealer.
