If any ones interested I have recently fitted TRD Replica Spats to my Celica they were off Ebay fo a good price:

Yeh there Fibre Glass and are normally fitted to the GT4's but so what they look great, also not a bad fit for a replica managed to get them flush to the bodywork!!

Let me know if you want any photos or details on where to get them!!!

is that an English term for something that in the US we use another word for? (example: Uk:bonnet US:hood)

Spats are what we call splitters. I believe its more referred to the rear splitters.

Not really, look around on ebay UK and you see them. In his profile it says front and rear spats.

Yes 95CelicaST you are correct the above are links to the Ebayer I bought mine from.

FOR THE MOMENT I HAVE AMENDED MY PROFILE AND PUT 2 NEW PHOTOS ON TO SHOW THE SPLITTERS IM RUBBISH AT THIS!!!!!!!!

Spats are corner splitters rather than whole length splitters

Spat is an Aviation term for a part used to reduce drag on some planes, must come from that i guess.

the rear spats fit really well...i liek those tails too, looks pretty good to me
