Ah the Celica Supra. MKII Supras is a more common name for em. The MKIs are lost in time haha.
Pics will come when the car moves. Its chilling in my driveway waiting to get its tranny back with the fresh clutch and stock flywheel. [my TRD is fuxxed.. damn chromoly!] also its too cold to do anything. I got the car very very cheap. I'll just say im spending under 5000 to get it back to running condition. I plan to build my suspension on it. Unlike my 97 which I procrastinated on... Hotchkis Springs and rear sway, C-One bars, ES bushings, AGX springs etc... |

Bumpity Bump.
The GTS is ALIVE! as of today. Lift was heard for the first time... and the Borla exhaust is actually quiet! LOL.. did a test drive around with both celicas [my bro in the GTS w/o a hood... me in the ST] Funny how you see heads turn.. and little kids wonder.. wtf wheres his hood! Pics coming tommorow.. im numb from working on it while the weather is crap [30d with strong wind.. ] |

A week of driving. And wow.. I haven't tried "pushing" yet just yet....Still no 2nd gear so.. bleh! One thing I do miss about my other Celica.. is the torque..
Comparing between my ST and the GTS [should be obvious..] I LOVE how the 2ZZGE screams from 6200-8400RPM. It's crazy loud and im not sure if its just me.. but the steering wheel is fighting.. I know its not too much torque.. LOL.. BTW... using premium kicks my butt.. Ive killed a full tank already.. do you mean that you miss the 6th gen's LACK of torque..? because that'd make a lot more sense...

No. My ST felt much torquier [sp] than my GTS
The can is just dead below 6000 |
