i know it's a bad habit, but i was hoping to wait for payday to fill it up. anyway, i just wanted to know how much further the needle can go before the engine starts to die out.. and i'm sure others are willing to know as well
perhaps someone can photoshop me a pic of how low the needle can go? thanks **btw, i've got a full tank now. woohoo for decreasing gas prices This post has been edited by azian_advanced: Feb 3, 2007 - 11:09 PM -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

you have about 50 miles (81 km) from when the light comes on until it starts to die out. that also depends on how hard you drive it also

Max I dared to drive with fuel light on up to refill was about 90km.
I dont look at the fuel gauge when driving around town, only when I plan to go further then 50km's from home. So when the Fuel light comes up I just look at the ODO meter and add 70 km to it before I refill -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!

I've gotten under the "E" as well, but I usually keep it from going under half a tank. (Sometimes things come up on short notice and I have no time if I were to be at "E" and have to fill up)
