Okay well today was my day off from work, so I tried to dry install my 404 sideskirts on the celica. I've noticed that both sides are a bit short, maybe 1/4 inch short from reaching the front fender wheel well. Is this how it suppose to be? Anyways, yesterday i've got a rough estimate of $600 to paint the front/rear extension and sideskirts and also to install them onto the celica. Keep in mind that i've already gotten the matching paint materials for it and that the shop normally doesn't do installs but will do it on the side for a price. Is this an expensive or reasonable price?

This is common with the VIS Type 404 Sideskirts. It will take a lot of cutting to get them to fit.

Yeah that sucked. I had to sand side skirts about 1/16" on both ends.

the fitment of my 404 skirts were pretty good. perfect length and no major gaps. i paid $650 to install my skirts, 96+ bumper, front and rear splitters, and blending the paint. so i guess $600 sounds pretty good considering your skirts are gonna need some extra work.

I had the same problem with mine. If you cut off the tops of the skirts they might fit, I got one of mine to fit that way. The closer you cut it to the body line the easier it will be. You can check out my thread in General Discussion for how I dealt with it or hit me up if you have any questions, good luck.
