i need to fix my floorboards. the driver side has small cracks that let water in my car. my carpet is moldy, but i can hopefully salvage that. how can i fix the cracks? i thought maybe a sealant. any help? i need it soon.

yea that same problem occured to me not to long ago too. I was finding out that my carpet was getting soaked in the rain. So i bought a sealant that to cover the cracks and works real well. dont nkow whats it called but i got it from o reilly.

thanx a lot. i am going to do that as soon as it get a little warmer and let wet. we just got ike 4 inches of rain...imagine if it was snow. well thanx again

Sealing it will be temporary..rust has attacked it and the only way is to remove all the rust and weld a metal plate in place, and repaint / seal the plate .

Gulf states Toyotas don't have this problem as our underbodies are heavily coated with what looks like spray on bed-liner. You guys with snow and that salt stuff should have gotten it too but Im told you didnt.

Actually the car does have that undercoating, but these are now 14 years old cars...theres a limit at how long it protects them. All it takes is 1 hole.
