k. I know the cluster bulbs are 194 (for the big ones), but I'm wondering if I put in 12v8w bulbs (not led) instead of the 12v5w (which I think are the standard ones), will there be trouble?
I bought a set of 8 watts (the regular 194's with the blue condom to give it a white look. ) and then thought I should check b4 putting them in. thx. |

just my opinion... if you put there bulb of same size but 60% more "powerful" it will shine more and will be more hot than 5W... That means you burn those condoms. I mean that condoms will not handle that temperature growth. Now about color... bulb light string is yellow + blue condoms + high illumination = light-green ...IMHO again of course .

Well, it would be silly of a company to make a 8w bulb cover that can't hold up to the heat of the bulb... unless the company is crooked.
Anyone try a 8w bulb in the gauge cluster? |

Anyone try a 8w bulb in the gauge cluster? those 8ws came with condoms for it? So that's fine, thats my misunderstanding (however still pessimistic about that color of light ) -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

Thanks! ~in the dark~ I honestly think (do it yourself) It really isn't hard at all. And will save you money. It takes maybe 5 minutes to do it. Look in the How-to's and it pretty much explains how to do it. Very simple. -------------------- |
