i think the 360 wins in most respects, only due to the fact that it's been out longer than the other 2 contending consoles. microsoft has had time to perfect the system, and right now is the best time to really showcase the power of the system cause developers are starting to really crank out quality titles.
the wii is really innovative, interesting, and fun. i wouldn't recommend playing it alone, though. the console really shines when you've got multiple people in wii sports. there aren't tons of games out for it, but this year will either make or break the console depending on how good the new metroid/mario/ssb will be. the playstation 3 was hyped to be some great system, and it turned out to be a giant flop. you'll meet fanboys of the system who swear up & down it's the greatest thing in the world, while developers/important people in the business/everyone else keep saying it's a piece of crap. it should've been 100x better than what consumers got, and i'll never buy another sony product for as long as i live because of how they handled the launch. |

My friends has Wii's...and its pretty fun lol... I just can't wait for about a year from now to see all the cool game coming out using the controller in different ways. xbox and ps3 will just be more of the same..just looking better.

Wii is definatly worth it. Its by far the best console if you have friends over, and the innovative gameplay in the single player games like zelda really make the console stand out. If you are had core gamer though, id go 360 for now and Wii later. The 360+wii combo seems to make the hardcore gamers happier than just the ps3.

I ended up getting a Wii a couple weeks ago. I have to say the Wii Sports game that it came with is really fun. As far as being connected to the Internet, I'm using Wi-Fi because there's no ethernet port on the Wii. If you want to directly connect a Cat 5 cable you have to buy a special adapter.
