Would installing a body kit or the Dropzone coilovers void any part of my Waranty?

modifications can only void warrantys if they can provide a reasonable scenario where that specific modification caused the problem... like if you installed dropzone coilovers and slammed the car, then you hit a driveway the wrong way and slammed the downpipe into a curb and dented it and wrecked the O2 sensor etc... then they could void it, but if you had the Dropzones and your trans started slipping... you will still be covered.

It may also depend on the terms of your contract. Your best bet would be to contact the dealer that you purchased the the vehicle from and ask them.

When I installed fog lights within the first year I got my car, Toyota wouldn't work on my car, saying that I had voided my warranty from installing the fogs... bah...

i have a toyota extended waranty on my 97 ST, it is the full coverage, 0 deductable waranty.

and those ****ers will try to find any way to void your waranty. they even tried to charge me when i made an apointment for a CEL today, i said i have the 0 deductable waranty and they said i dont have to pay for anything that isnt wear and tear.

that is why im going with trd springs on my car. but generally, only engine related and electrical modifications will cause a voiding of the waranty.

if only the guys at toyota knew im installing a turbo, lol.
