about 3 wks ago installed cross drilled slotted rotors and ceramic pads, was fine at first, week later it started making a horrbile screaching noise, had it checked out the brake clips were old and hitting the rotor and grinded away, so orderd new clips, once again no problems for a week. but now when i let ofthe gas it sounds like my rotor is not tight? and hitting the caliper bracket who knows,...anywy its annoying as hell.
well i jsut read the bent luck thread and i did hit a deer last year, guess i need to check to see if my a frame and ball joint are toasted. any one have any suggestions i'm pretty sure when i was working on the caliper i tightened the 15mm bolts that atttach the caliper bracket to the rotor pretty good, could i have not tightened it enuff this problem comes and goes any sugestions would be apprecaited This post has been edited by illneversellmycelli: Jan 24, 2007 - 12:36 PM -------------------- |

did you resurface the rotors since the clips were touching them?
