Well guys and gals, I'm moving internationally in about 4 months, so my project is going up for sale. This is a preview, as both items need a little work before being sold. For pictures, please check my profile, if you would like to see more, then pm me an email address, and what you would like to see.

Item 1:

1997 Celica GT

~121,000 miles
Please PM about any maintance information you'd like to know.

Modications:
Home designed intake (I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, to be a Ph.D, so it's not a hack job)
Battery moved to boot
Viper Alarm System
DC to AC converter

Sound System:
Eclipse CD8455
Boston Acoustics 6.5" Rally Components up front
Boston Acoustics 5.25" Rally Components in back
Power by Rockford Fosgate P4004 amplifier

2x 10" Boston Acoustics G2 Subwoofers (you loose the back seats for these, but gain a little cargo space)
All 6 speaker have custom built enclousures
Powered by Rockford Fosgate P5002

Custom Enclosures for all 6 speakers
With the exception of the Rally speakers, all Modifications can be restored to factory original

Item 2:

98 Japanese GT-Four Half cut with only 30,000 miles on it

What came with the original half-cut:

Complete engine block with everything needed to make it crank (yes it does crank)
Complete 4WD drive down to the wheel hubs
Exhaust down pipe and mid pipe
Front strut towers
Front crash bar (though it is a little bent up, can be straightened out with proper equipment)

What I have bought since then:

Gauge Cluster
Climate Control interface unit
New Steering wheel levers (The originals were broken)
Almost new fog lights
Bonnet (Slightly damaged during shipping, looking into cost to repair it at the moment)
Bumper cover
Virtual and Paper printed Toyota Engine manual
Virtual and paper printed Toyota Body and Chasis manual
GT-Four Badge for the completed project
Lots of Extra Wiring harnesses

What you need to complete the conversion (not guarenteed, this is only to the best of my knowledge):

Fuel Tank
Fuel Pump
Fuel Lines
Grilles for bonnet and bumper cover
New rear differential mounting plate (the original was torn up)
Rear strut tower bar (I guess not necessary but strongly recommended)
Various small parts (nuts, bolts, and mounting equipment)

What you need to make it a GT-Four

Brake discs and Calipers (The ones from the GT will bolt directly to the wheel hubs)
New Wheels (To fit the larger brakes)
Spoiler and Riser blocks

That's about all I can think of for now, if it's not specifically listed, then ask.

Tentative price for the GT is $6,000, and $5,000 for the half cut +shippping (which I will help with in any way I can), if someone wants to buy them both I would let them go for $10,000. At this point, I will not part out either of these, so please don't ask.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

It depends on what people are interested in, if people are just interested in the mechanical parts, then I will make an exception for the hood and bonnet, but it's a little too early to tell now.

As far as the half cut...The average on these is about 2500. What makes this one worth 5000? I'm interested but that price is going to have to come way down on the half cut.

This price is based on what I payed to get everything into my garage (which is a little over $6k). As I said, the prices are only tentative, but the appeal is the year, low mileage, and completeness of the of the project. I can't say what average is, but the only clip available on ebay is a little under $2800, with an unknown year and mileage, no body parts, fog lights, propeller shaft, rear differential, rear axles or hubs. Puchasing just the bonnet, bumper cover, and rear differential would put the total price over $4k, so the price can drop, but don't expect a huge percentage.

When the price gets reasonable I might be interested in the front clip and the rear diff. You met my friend kevin(black st205 conversion) and I when I sold you the bumper off of my front clip. Kevin and I have been looking for a front clip for parts for quite some time.. We would be able to haul it all off since we are local

For anyone who is interested, I have seen this stuff and it in very good condition. Not sure about 5k though.. (My clip was 3600 WITH body panels. I was able to recoop the high cost of my clip by selling the body panels so it ended up being around 2100 total invested)

That would be hilarious if you ended up buying the bumper off of my front clip too laugh.gif Hope the GT-FOUR hood is treating you good

It would be quite funny, but as you said, there was no rear drive train, and if I can recall correctly, you were also missing key electrical parts such as the MAP sensor. While I am willing to drop the price, it's not critical that the clip is sold. I'm only gone for three years, so I don't have putting it in storage until I return if low ball offers are the only thing I see.

My clip came with a map sensor. It was very complete. It even came with a blitz ecu, blitz bov, apex intake, and sport steering wheel. I ordered just the motor, then they told me that just the engine did not come with the map. So i upgraded to a front clip instead. Glad i did because that way i got the wta ic heat exchanger and pump, and after selling the body panels and the trd superstruts struts, the clip ended up costing the same as just a motor after shipping

Edit: Also, I dont need the rear subrframe. The brakes and rear diff would be nice, but i can squeeze by without them. Then you must consider that most of the people looking to buy the clip are looking to use it for a fwd swap, so they cant use it either. The awd swap is VERY hard. I was impressed you were so eager to tackle it

Thanks for the correction, I'm sorry I misremembered.
