just right down the stem of the shock. If you plan on dropping your car, you might wanna cut off a section of it because your suspension still needs play room, if you don't the suspension might turn out tight because everything will be compressed.

If you look at the pic I posted that's actually the OEM bump stop (after I cut it), if you look at your bump stop it should be in what I would call "3 layers", just cut off 1 of the layers. It's about a 1/2" layer. You don't want to cut more than that or there may not be enough absorbment when it rebounds. -Christee- |
