Out of curiosity what would lowering the compression on a stock 7afe do for performance wise?

nothing, it would actually decrease the performance of a "stock" 7afe. lower compression is for force induction applications.

I have a turbo 7afe but interested in lower cr, just wandering if you could put 82mm gasket on 81mm bore without problems
