Autozone, Pep Boys, etc have 6.99 grase gun hoses - very high pressure,
1/8 npt - can they be used to relocate oil pressure sensor? Anyone tried those with hot oil - how they stand to it? If they do - it would be a good deal as opposed to braided NOS lines (pricewise). V |

I'm a lubrication engineer and I have one of these in my office right now. Looking at it I'm 100% sure it would hold up to the pressure but I don't think I would put that line anywhere near my turbo or header due to the heat. IDK - if you had a oil pressure gauge hooked up and could monitor it while driving and test this out you could just shut the engine off if a problem arose. IMO - I wouldn't try it. Just spend the extra money and wait the extra time to do it right the first time. Personally I use Pressure2's setup as a guideline and try to stick with his results. I'm not gonna cheap out on something as important as oil - the lifeblood of your engine/turbo.

Why do you want to change the location of the pressure sender?
It's in a easy accessible place.... -------------------- |
