Can that be made to look all shiny again? If you try and fail it always looks good to have that part black on a red/colored car. Goes well with the black tinted windows. So give it a shot.

Can that be made to look all shiny again? If you try and fail it always looks good to have that part black on a red/colored car. Goes well with the black tinted windows. So give it a shot.

i was told that if you sand it with 400 grit (wet), the old paint sould be knocked off... then apply anhesive promoter, finaly clearcoat the carbon directly... this should work.... (i hope)

today was a realy good day!!! i got new a/c compresor and condencer in!!! rear seats, headliner and door panels were sent to the upholstery shop for alcantara covering!!!! front end of celica is being lined up for final fitment with lip!!! front end will be broken back down before paint... it wont be long now!!! pics are a little less quality be cause i took them with my new i phone!!!

Looking good thumbsup.gif ....Got a question for you...Where you able to get the CF too look good on the spoiler?....I just got a real TRD coupe wing and its all painted... If its CF id like to sand it to how it was but I'm not gonna if you were unable to get it to look good.

the celica is totaly ready for paint!!! but needed to go to the mech shop first (last wed) for an AC compressor replacement... rolleyes.gif the painter said "I want all the mech work finished before i paint!!! because i dont want them to scratch or scuff the paint work aftewards..." i totaly agree with him and the car is now with a mechanic in the shop who said it will be no more than a day or two before he is done, untill my bf picked-up the wrong AC compressor!!! mad.gif as of today, we now have the correct AC compressor!!! so mabe this week it will see some paint i hope... i will keep you all posted!!! wink.gif

where are you going to pick one of those up?
your car looks nice btw. i just wish i had the money to put into my car like that. and my car is a daily driver so i couldn't just leave it in the shop for that long of a time.
