well g6'rs, i am sad to report once again that my celica is still not painted... kindasad.gif so i decied to start on the wiring and and system install... i wired the front projector coner lights and side repeaters to europen/jap specs, along with gt4 fog lights and i wired in a hid harness... as far as the system goes i installed the MBquarts speakers and crossover boxes along with a pioneer center channel speaker... the front speakers went in with ease because i bought some ring adaptors but in the rear i had to shave the plastic speaker braket down to get a nice fit... all in all, a nice clean install!!! thumbsup.gif i will be finishing up the system next week with a valor GPS head unit...

Nice audio setup...I thought MB quarts went under..and where bought out...I could be wrong though. Either way its nice...anyway to mount the center channel more flush? or is that the only way it goes?

i know right!!! the center channel simply mounts there with velcrow tape... i thought about cutin into the dash but thats some work and from what i can see it dose'nt look like there is enough room underneath because of dash vents... maybe if i mount it on the roof just behind dome light would be better but the 5.1 sound may be off then...

Looking pretty good, nice progress

though i would really suggest finding a much less obvious and cleaner mounting spot for that 1 speaker on your dash. sticking out there just looks cheap and cheesy, on the headliner might work better. or maybe inside the dash kindasad.gif but just Velcro'd on there doesn't look very good

hmm... i think i should get my interior reupholstered. i was thinking of some kinda fake leather, but alcantara looks pretty good. can't wait to see the whole thing put together.

i plan on tinting the windows also... im sure that will tone all the red down a bit... but all in all, red on red on red is the master plan!!! why so much red??? 1: i love the color (obviously) 2: red has never been taken this far with a 6g celica (or any other celica for that matter), 3: is going to be a serous "jaw droper" on the streets!!!

any ways, we fixed that stupid center channel speaker, i yanked it off the dash and we mounted it to the headliner... it looks right at home there to me... what do you think???
