where did you get those gt4 fenders?

ebay.co.uk

The celica should be very close to this color when finished...

its a little of both, offset and lip size... i had to role the rear fenders to make the wheels fit... thay should clear by 2mm!!!

yeah, am currently working on my GT to fit some 9.5", maybe 10" rims rite now (not to sure yet)

i've been lookin at Axis wheels and their Maxxis tech is pretty cool...expands lip size, gives a rwd look, without sacrificing the dimensions of the rim to much.

if yours are 18", i assume they're 18x8 all around with the Maxxis tech in the rears, correct?

and where did you have to roll? the front or the rear fenders?

i think i'll have to do some major stretching to fit the 9.5-10" rims but the end result is worth it for me

Beautiful rims! Are they staggered? In the second picture it looks like they are. You're car is going to look great!

You are correct... the wheels are not staggered sized, just staggered offset, it gives the celica a look of a RWD car... I made a template to find the max offset and mesured it down to 2mm cleareance for that "perfect flush look"...

I like those wheels. Bold choice. Watch those rotors for breaking, I'm too chicken to buy drilled rotors. I would like to see the radio system left out, those things are too heavy. That quarter isn't ready for filler yet, I still see rust. It'll come back quick if you don't completely get rid of it. Good luck with your project.

Thats true. Make sure they take all the rust out of it cos otherwise it wouldnt take too long to get rusty again.

WOW this thing looks SICK!!!!!!! I am planing to mount it just as the BMW,s have them (rear part of the roof) and i will also be hiding my GPS and XM antenna underneath the shark fin... this should turn out as a very clean install with classy german styling!!! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif
