So, my roomate since i first moved in with him was always sayin how hes gonna b buyin a car soon. He kept sayin how hes always gonna buy a BMW and like, hes never had a car b4. So he kept going on and on. So a few weeks ago he started looking for a BMW. He was about to buy a 99 325I, but it got sold, then he was about to buy a 96 318TI, but it wasnt that great for the price. Then about a 2 weeks ago he went onto maxbimmer.com and found a rediculus 328IS for stupid cheap...take a look

Not bad eh?..paid $10K for it. Fully M bodykit, M seats, M steering wheel, M tranny..only thing that doesnt make it an actual M3 is the motor. Soooo freakin nice. He also spent like another $2k on audio equipment. Put all JL audio speakers into it aswell as amps and cross overs. Car sounds sooooo freakin good and its soooooooo freakin quick. Im kinda jelous. We are gonna take some videos later in the week and we r gonna post em. Only downside to him ownin it (besides me not owning it tongue.gif ) is its his first car thats stick and hes still learning how to drive, so he granny shifts all the time.

yea i was about to say that no M3 kit lol
but car looks very clean! and a nice buy thats for sure
if he wants a few more ponies outta it he should look into upgrading his throttle body for sure they give pretty nice little gains

though 328 is still slow haha but i guess faster then a celica

*edit..he said it was M3 but its actually an ACShintzer body kit imported from germany. But seats, wheel, shift knob, back seats, and some of the interior parts are M3.

as for adding power, in the summer we r gonna put a supercharger kit on it and maybe add a wet nitrous system. He wants to put in a nitrous purge system coming out of his headlight squirter.

We are gonna get some help from my buddy whos got a 98 M3 thats supercharged. Hes hoping to get around 400 or so HP.

Is that 10k Canadian dollars or US dollars?
An E36 M3 usually goes for US$ 10k around here (Florida).

we werent beatin on it hard..revs were kept under 3800rpm...he was the one who wanted to go out and have some fun. Its funny u mention how nice it is, i took it into my shop at school to do a suspension check on it and to see if i could adjust his e-brake (doesnt grab), and i found a few things. Like hes got a bunch of shot sensors (put a scan tool on it), his front springs are failing, he needs new real calipers, a brake job, hes got rust startin on his front fenders and rear 1/4 pannel, his heat sheild is fallin off under his car, hes got play in his front ball joints, and he needs new tires on the rear (not from that night, they were bad in the first place, we just didnt help em)

i'm considering buying a used Z3 for my next car.

it's the cheapest 'sporty' BMW I could find. If i were to get any other bimmer, it'd be an M3, and those are pricey.
