Yes, Toyota call it Turbocharger Pressure Sensor
You can use one from Celica Alltrac or MR2 Turbo
The MR2 one is
89420-17030, "Sensor Assembly, Turbo Pressure"

Or u can grand national map sensor too. they has the same wire diagram, and is has 3 bar on. boost from 1 PSI to 30 psi.. with out hitting fuel cuz.. cuz i know alot people who use this map sensor for their car... it only 86 dollar from auto zoner or u could go look online for more detail...u don't to wast $200 buck for 1.2 bar.. it so expensive..
and one my guy friend told about this grand national map sensor and i bought it. i use for it i didn't have to worry about fuel cut.. and i use a boost control.

usually when people go w/ a 3-bar map sensor they get the GM one for $75.
hopefully u can find a used one on mr2oc for pretty cheap.
i managed to sell my 1jz map sensor for $100, but i think i got lucky.(it's the same or VERY close to the same as SW20's)

I bought one used at mr2oc.com for $68 shipped. they cost alot more than that brand new. and for a 5sfte, you'll probably never boost more than 2 bar anyway

map sensors are in absolute.
so a 2-bar is really 1bar, and 3 bar 2...
just clarifying.

yeah, I was wondering about that. cause I thought 2-bar was like 15 PSI, but when I looked it up, it was really like 30 PSI... either way, a 2-bar map sensor is still good for up to 15-ish PSI which is alot for a 5sfte

I and some others are intrigued about the grand national map sensor. Does it just plug right in to the stock location or is there some wiring involved? Sorry for the revival.

and u gotta be able to tune with it since the voltage output is going to be way off for a stock ecu

correct me if im wrong, but i thought the idea was, that if you double your injector size, you should also double the map sensor, so that the stock fuel map gets scaled correctly. putting a 3bar map sensor would be a bad idea because you would mess with the load readings of the stock ecu. stick to a 2bar map and 440 injectors, if you plan on running 7-15psi.

so stock injectors are 220cc?

sounds like a ghetto way to run more boost to me, lol
since each sensor actually is a bit different with voltages, if the stocks are 213, then 440 might be okay, to be a little rich on the same side incase the voltage is off a bit.

just whatever you do, it's always smart to have a wideband ready IMO

Stock are 220cc at 3bar.

Manny recommends the RX-7 Injectors, they are 460cc at 3bar.

i think all of these map sensor send out 0-5volts. the stock fuel map is from vac to 0psi. adding a 2bar map will just stretch out that fuel map, so that the ecu wont freak out when it sees boost. this way when your boosting 14.5psi (1bar) the stock ecu will see 100% load (a good thing). but if you tried the same thing with a 3bar map, the ecu would only see about 67% max load at 1bar of boost, throwing your timing maps WAY of.

and yeah, the car will still need a wideband and a piggy back to tune it.
