So yesterday I was in my works parking lot and some lady was about to cross but saw me coming so she stopped and I went but i put my hand up to wave thanks and i saw the lady was like mouthin to herself and i was like wtf? then I couldnt get traction so I started peeling out accidently. Well come to find out that someone at that office called someone at my office and complained that ive almost hit people ???? so that guy wrote my boss and now im dreading that. this week i keep getting talked to for like everything. its really pissing me off.

Im more mad that they are complaining cuz ever since my reckless ticket in September ive calmed down alot. Im just tired of getting yelled at for my driving cuz my car is loud and yeah when im going 5 - 10 miles per hour it sounds like im doing probably 15 - 25.

I just hope I dont get yelled at too much about it from my boss. shes a girls so im not sure she will understand how my car sounds louder than its actually going.

?? Dont know how you can say whether someone can drive or not considering youve never seen them. I admit that my driving in the past wasnt the best but since the 2500 dollar lawyer and 350 dollar ticket ive been alot better with my driving and my attitude when driving

take a little bit of oil with you to work. Park in front of their door, pour it on the ground in front of your tires and spin them for a while... while giving them the finger

yeah, learning how to drive sounds pretty good. Seems like you have a history of bad driving. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm not the best driver and I'm still learning myself.

They emailed the office manager here - uhh im so over these people
heres what it said
Hi,
I spoke to someone last night after hours, but felt it was neccessary to contact someone again this morning.
Since this summer, your receptionist that drives the black Toyota Celica has REPEATEDLY sped through our lot with no regard for others.

Last night, she came very close to hitting one of our employees. When she was told to slow down, she began to rev her engine and peel out right in front of our offices.
Several times I have backed out of one of the parking spots after looking to make sure no one was coming, and sure enough, she sped around the corner with no care almost hitting me and then honking her horn.

Having small children, this kind of behavior scares me, and I would treat it much differently if they were in the car with me here at work. Let's just say I would not be as nice.

I honestly think that this issue needs to be addressed immediately. The Kirkland Police incident this summer in the parking lot does not help her case IMO.

Can you really say "IMO" in a professional email? Is this girl really young or something... I'm not sure what really happened but this statement was totally unnecessary,

"The Kirkland Police incident this summer in the parking lot does not help her case IMO."

Sounds like you got a hater on your hands...

since your driving style has changed since your incident with the police, I think you should try to change your job too, start fresh somewhere else. From personal experiences I can tell you doesn't matter how you drive from now on, they'll always think you drive like a maniac because that's the first impression they got and is hard to change that.

meh sounds like they all need me there to show them how a crazy person drives

yeah if its not too far then just walk/ride bike/public transportation or some other way of getting to work for a while. if not just tell them you just got out of prison for killing the last person that complained about your driving
