i was putting coilovers on my car and now the passenger side hub wont raise up so i can bolt the strut back on. some people have told me that i pulled the shaft out of th etransmission. just wondering if thats it or somethng worse.

You may have pulled the inner half of the CV joint apart with the boot still holding it all together. See if you can twist the axle while holding the inner part of the axle shaft where it enters the trans to realign it with the other half. I accidentally pulled my drivers side axle apart when trying to remove it for engine removal, boot and outer axle half come out leaving the inner hub sticking out of trans. I carefully realigned it and pushed it back in and forced the boot back into proper alignment. Careful not to get any dirt into the CV joint and make sure the boot is fully seated.

thanks. i got it back in my spinning the hub and pushing. it took like 5 min. i feel stupid. but now my steering feels all messed up.

If you replaced struts, you need your alignment checked, period.
Especially if you messed with your tie rods.
