sorry to say but that bumper is a little overpriced since you can order yourself a brand new one for ~$300 plus shipping. and that one is sort of damaged.. you might as well buy it new and order all the grills and pieces to complete the bumper, and don't forget the hood biggrin.gif

That bumper has been relisted and now has less on it than before...and for more money laugh.gif It looked like the winning bid was $400 and it had the upper and lower grills. Not worth it.

I emailed the seller and asked if he knew it can be bought brand new for over 100 less than that.

This front bumper, brand new, costs over 100 dollars less than what you are asking. Why would anyone buy this broken bumper for 400 shipped when they can get it from ToyotaWorld.com for 223.27 dollars?

From him
I checked Toyotaworld, they offer the US factory replacement. This is a factory Turbo RC alltrac bumper, not available in the US or through Toyotaworld. This is a rare bumper and I have had auctions for this style bumper go up over $600. $400 for a rough bumper is a good deal.

From me
Actually, the ST205 GT-Four didn't have a special bumper for the RC. The part number for ALL GT-Four front bumpers is 52119-2b905. Go ahead and plunk that one into toyota world and check again.

From him
That number does come up at ToyotaWorld, but after verifying the number with the US Toyota part numbers and the Japanese Toyota part numbers, that number is not a valid Toyota part number. The actual part number for this bumper in White is 52119-2b170-A0 (both 0's are zero's). This number does not come at ToyotaWorld. I'm not sure if that means if anything, but it would be nice to see a picture at ToyotaWorld and be able to verify it is factory. Also, this bumper retails in the neighborhood of $550 new at the Japanese Toyota parts stores. I'm not trying to talk ToyotaWorld down, I'm just not familiar with there products. These are just the facts I came up with. But if they actually have the genuine product for that price, that is definitely the way to go.

From him
I'm not saying they don't have what they claim. good possibility that forum article may have been based off of ToyotaWorld's part numbers.
No problem. But if you get the bumper, let me know. I am interested in what they have if that is what they are asking. I will continue to sell my parts at the price I'm asking. I never have a problem selling them.

probably he does, but not everybody is on 6gc.net and have the part number to order it or something, so some people think is a good deal because is JDM not knowing.

Glad I'm here smile.gif
