Hey guys do you know where I can get these lense http://lh5.google.com/image/ash.armstrong/....JPG?imgmax=512
I just need the high beams part, cause I'm gonna take a plastic clear glass, the same glass that they use in procar parts in our clear lense turn signal and mold (bake it and shape it) to the shape of that part they put to cover the headlight hole. My plan if you can imagine it is to create a clear lense cover that would look like the picture above (only for high beams and its clear!) and put a angel eyes halo around the diameter of the inner circular area - outside diameter of the high beams. Also if I can make this, I can most likely mass copy them and possible sell them to you guys if interested? This way its easier to install halos, in which we need not take off our bumper and heat our high beams. |

you can't just sand them out...
i've done it before you'll never get them perfectly clear i've personnally taken a 6gc headlight and tried...you have to sand blast it or something i forget but its not just grinding and sanding..plus you arn't going to get a perfectly smooth/even surface by hand neways This post has been edited by playr158: Feb 22, 2007 - 6:25 PM |

plexiglass mold is probably the best way, cheapest too
the glass can be sand blasted down, but the pain is polishing them i heard. probably difficult because of it being so uneven too after the sandblasting i wonder if a heavy grit sanding disc could smoothen out the surface and just try to get someone to polish it i know there is an art school around em and they do some glass work, they should be able to wok something too |

mold with plexi glass, glass sanding would be to much work for what your trying to do. plexi glass would be easy just heat it up and wrap it around then cut and sand edges.

My thoughts exactly. BTW anyone has a pic of the inner OEM headlights? |
