Im tired of looking without luck for good condition leather seats (i know it's rare)..so my question is:
can I take another model of seats (like from a 2006 Accord) and swap the brakets under with mine or it is not easy like that? Also, are there models of car that use the same seats than us but in leather (Lexus or Camry maybe)? This post has been edited by HaRv3sTeR: Feb 27, 2007 - 1:01 PM |

i think no matter what seats you get u have to customize the brackets. Only car that i know thats easish to swap seats into is seats from the newer celicas fit pretty well into the mid 90s camrys, but u still need to cut the brackets a bit. If you want somethin roughly the same size as the new celica seats and are comfortable as hell, plus u could hook up for heated seats too, go with a set of RSX seats. A buddy of mine bought a set for his civic and managed to wire them up so the heated seats work.

you could also try it out yourself? and you could also add the luxury of heated seats to your original seats as well. i know some1 who retrimmed her FTO seats in leather all she did was take the cover off her seats the cut the leather to the same size add the heater element that was on another car wired it all up the fitted the new leather seat cover.

best picture i could find. They have side SRS, but you wouldnt b able 2 hook it up. But super comfy seats, heated seat possible, hold u in tight, and if you can find a wrecked one at a scrap yard, you can get em for around $500 for the seats + what ever else you need for the heated seats. Or you can see if you can find a set of oem 7th gen celica leather seats |

adding heated seats is no problem, it's about $100/chair and takes about a couple of hours installation. just search 'heated seats' as a topic title.
also i just found this online but you can just change all seat covers to new ones: (but kinda pricy and a lot of work) Black LEATHER 1994-1997 katzkin celica seat covers but if i were looking for leather or new seats, i'd get those later-2005/6 celica leather seats and order a new set of frame rails from japan and weld them on.. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
