far better than fiberglass body parts...they offer some flexing so thats a big advantage when having a lwoered car. i have heard rumors that the duraflex kits dont line up well, but thats more of the actual mold issue than anything else
i firend of mine bought a durflex lip for his Z and he hasnt regret the pruchase yet, the flexiblility on a lowered Z (any lowered car for that matter) saves the piece in the long run |

I have machined quite a bit of abs, it is brittle if thin, cheap compared to
other plastics, relitively stable to machine, I wouldnt think it would be good for painting but I have never looked into that aspect of it. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

Does anyone know the material that gutters for houses are made out of?
My home-made $3.28 front lip on my old Sentra took quite the beating (scraped countless driveways/roads, dragged tumbleweeds from driving backwards through a field, hit a rock, my dog ran into it, etc.) and still survived for a good 9 months up until I finally hit a large chunk of ice in eight-degree weather while trying to squeeze my car out of a parking spot. Then it was back to Home Depot for another piece of gutter...$3.28 and two hours later it was as good as before. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Poly Urethane kits are better. But they don't always fit. My bodyman that did all my bodywork, his son has a crx with a urathane kit and it didn't even come close to fitting. In his words "No bodykit is a perfect fit" but i'll find out how well poly Urathane fits, because i'm getting Urathane front lip and rear splitters for my g/f's eclipse.
