I'm planning to change my shocks/struts myself, I already have KYB's and Teins. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm and after reading all most of the stickies, I am just wondering if I need to apply grease anywhere in the process? Thanks!

you don't really have to but while you're in there you should, a lot of people have problems with creaking noises while going over bumps. get some high-temp grease or something silicon based (something that is made for rubber so it won't deteriorate it over time) and spray it by the top mount and where the bottom of the spring sits on the strut. theres a post about it somewhere but I'm not sure where
