I want to know if there is and type of speakers that are like flat that can fit on the ledge in front of the back window.

Illusion Audio makes some shallow speakers. Blaupunkt and Kicker make some midbass speakers.

or make yourself a parcel shelf out of wood and mount the speakers underneath, then you can get any kind!

Pioneer has some nice free air shallow subs.
They are made for mounting in places like what you are talking about. Pioneer -------------------- -M-
