well, on the radar detector, i just spliced into the map light wiring.
Red=constant Black=ground Bad part is i have to turn off my radar detector whenever i leave my car off overnite. -------------------- Jared Harwell

For the radar detector, you'll want probably run the switch power (+ wire) to the gray(switched +12 volts) wire on the cd player, rather than the red one, which is the right rear positive speaker wire. You could also wire the radar detector into your fuse panel if you wanted, but either way will work.
For the fog lights, you'll probably want to find a switch, and then hookup the switch ground to any good ground, wire the +12 volts wire from the fogs to one terminal of the switch, and then the other terminal of the switch could be wired to a fuse that's in your interior fuse panel. This may or may not work however, depending on what kind of fog lights they are, because all fog lights have different wiring. If you've got a wiring diagram for the fog ligthts and could post it on here, I'm sure that we could provide a lot more help. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
