So, back in Sept, i moved down here to Windsor for school and when I did, i left my friends, family, and gf back home in Toronto. Any ways, its been pretty hard for me having my gf livin like 3 and a half hours away. Any ways, lately shes been hangin out with her best friend more. So shes been going out with her best friend Tyler (female, dont ask), her bf Josh and this guy that they are friends with Mikey. So this Mikey guy since the first time they met has been hittin on her. First thing he ever said to her was "so are you single?" Since then when ever they r hangin out the guy asks for hugs, tryed to put his arm around her as much as possible. But she always pushes him away and every thing, but apparently this guy gets obsest with girls alot. Like apparently this guy was obsest with his ex gf for like a year to the point where she had to get a TRO for him. So im kinda concerned about that. But also to add to that, some new guy started at her work and has been hittin on her since day 1 aswell. Like she told him we are goin out, told him we have been goin out for a long time, told him shes movin down here in the summer, but this guy doesnt seem to care. He hits on her constantly, tries to flirt with her constantly, etc. And like i mean its ok if he just flirts maybe once or twice b4 he gets the point that shes already taken/not interested, but this guy doesnt stop. She told me that all of her co-workers say he does it with all of them, but she has never seen or heard it. Also the other day as she was leaving he yelled out to her as he was walkin out the door "So you know im gonna be here waiting for you when your fiance(even though we arent engaged) dumps you." This guy has never met me b4, doesnt know any thing about me and then tells my girl friend of over 2 years that hes gonna b waiting for her when i dump her. So im kinda pissed off because i have to hear about this from 3 and a half hours away, and im pissed for the obvious reason that i dont like the idea of 2 sketchy guys hittin on my girlfriend. And im kinda freaking out about this Mikey guy and how he gets so obsest with people to the point where ppl need to take out TROs on him.

Any ideas of what i should do? Im gonna b back in toronto next week for a week, so im thinkin of just meetin these guys and tellin them to f*ck off. But i dunno..any ideas?

First: its obsessed.

Second: This day & age you cant just fight for a girl. You'll get arrested. These guys dont care about your relationship, they want to get with your girl. Its nothing personal, its called a majority of the male population.

Third: How does she feel about this other guy Mikey? Perhaps encourage her to tell her best friend & her b/f that she doesnt want to hang out with Mikey around. Maybe you should express your concerns to her and see what type of action your g/f wants to take with her best friend.

Fourth: Guys hit on your g/f all the time. Everyday, from all angles. You dont hear about all of it because you dont have to. You just gotta understand that.

First: I have a learning disability and can spell at like a 8th grade level at best.

Second: I dont plan on fighting, im not stupid or violent. And i know the want to get with my girl friend hense why im pissed.

Third: This mikey guy she doesnt like at all. She has told her best friend that she doesnt wanna hang out with this guy, but as of right now her best friend doesnt have a car, so my girl friend has to pick her up all the time. This mikey guy is living with them right now, so when she goes to pick her up, hes there and then he pretty much invites him self to come with.

And Fourth: I know guys hit on girls all the time, and i know i dont hear about it all the time, but how would you feel if you were in my position? Your girl friend lives almost 4 hours away, you have to random guys fighting for your girl friend, your girl friend isnt 100% sure if she wants to move in with you next year, you have a guy whos gone to the point of pretty much criminal stalking against hi ex, and you got some other guy whos telling your girl friend that your gonna dump her sometime.

Honestly...by telling me that guys hit on girls all the time and by telling me somethin thats basic knowledge that even an 8 year old would know, like that i can get arrested for fighting some one.

thanks for the help

talk to your gf about it. Communication is sometimes the best thing.

edit: read your post.

Talk to the guy, ask him what the deal is, and maybe STRONGLY suggest he stops the on going flirtation/whatever he does towards your gf.

During school my gf is 4 hours away, and I would drive every other weekend to see her even for a day or 2. it's all about trust and if she tells you that you are the only guy she wants to be with and those other guys are just bags of douche then you have nothing to worry about. I would tell her that if they try and touch her then she has free pass to f their sh** up. My girl elbowed a spanish guy while shes over in spain for 4 months right now so hard he lost his breath on a metro after he grabbed her butt. basically if your girl wants to be with you then you are fine, she just may have to express her dislikement for the other guys more obvious and that may ease your mind.

hey, simma down now. let's all be nice, guys.

nobody's going to get anywhere if we're ALL asses.

anyway....i tend to be a little overprotective and jealous myself. i used to be pretty verbal about it, to the point that alot of the guys in my gf's circle of friends started to be uncomfortable around me because i was notorious for being an ass.

i finally sat down and talked it over with my lady, and it all comes down to trust, like 6gcSTVT said. if you trust your girlfriend, things will take care of themselves. the thing i learned in all of it was that if my gf needs me for something, she'll tell me. if your gf is really uncomfortable with this mikey fella she will take the necessary action to get rid of him. i wouldn't involve yourself unless she wants you to be involved.

when you go back, don't be too hard with the guy(s?), they'll only use it against you. you can trust me on this one-your girlfriend would much rather see you passive until provoked. women like strong men, but not aggressive men. if you are threatened, do what you have to, but unless somebody has deliberately hurt you or yours, lay low.

i have to agree with everyone else, talk to your girl and see what she really thinks.

neKronos...thats hilarious.

I understand its frustrating to be 3 1/2 hours away from your girlfriend while you're at school. Does this mikey guy bother your girlfriend? I may have overread that or something, but it doesn't sound like its a big enough issue to her where she hasn't addressed it to him yet.

I would only intervene at the point where your girlfriend tells you its creeping her out.

I would honestly go there and have a chat with these guys. Because i understand where you are coming from. Thats not right for a guy to just keep hitting on a girl when they have a b/f and they keep telling the guys that they have a b/f, thats kinda harasment. IMO.

Yea plus i dont like these guys talkin sh*t about me when i havent even met them. I think im gonna talk 2 them. My gf has apprently talked 2 her friend since about this Mikey guy, and apparently now hes obsessing over my gf's other best friend. And hes like twice as bad with this other girl as with my gf. And the duche bag she works with, hes still keeping up with his duche baggary, so i think im gonna talk 2 him when i get home.

Yea man i would talk to him. That's so messed up and childish to talk crap about someone that you haven't even seen or met. And then just keep hitting on his g/f. Thats really childish and he really needs to grow the hell up.

just talk 2 those 2 guys man 2 man and tell them that u dont think its very respectful. Be straight up with them, but tlet them know u aint gonna put up with it. i mean there r alway gonna b guys hittin on ur girl no matter what, but i understand where ur coming from, those guys seem wierd. and if she works with one of the guys that sucks, i bet ur GF hates going 2 work knowing that ass hole is gonna be there.

lols funny,

just trust your gf dude, guys are going to be guys no matter what you say to them its how life works....you have to learn to trust your GF's better judgement.....some guys (like myself) are just natural flirts, unintentional and meaningless but it happens...3 hours isn't far either....
If your GF can't drawl the line with these guys then well you have bigger issues....

she can draw the line perfectly fine and i understand some guys are natural flirts..but is a natrual flirting thing to tell a girl that her boyfriend *that you know she has* is gonna b a duche bag, propose to her, then dump her and that you will b waiting for her?? Some how i dont think that works with the females all that well. I trust her alot..im not saying shes gonna b goin out and screwin around with these guys or any thing..im more just pissed off that these 2 guys are actin like complete duche bags, hittin on her when shes told them to stop, and are attacking me and my character when they havent ever met me or know any thing about me.

Dude first of all.. if i were you, i would swap in a 3s and cut that drive down from 3-1/2 to 1.5 hours biggrin.gif

but seriously though, if your girlfriend was cool enought to actually bring up the fact that 2 guys are hitting on her and annoying her, than you should trust that she has no intereset in them.....

Cause think about, if your girlfriend was actually into one of these guys and she knows your 3 hours away dont you think she would keep her mouth shut about it??? she knows she could get away with it pretty easily right? so why would she bring it up?

I think you and your girlfriend will be just fine man, just trust her. And if you really want to talk to these guys, do it in cool headed way. Tell them whats up and that its disrespectful for them to be doing that, maybe theyll accept maybe they wont, but at least you threw it out there. If they keep it up after that... then your gf should be the one to tell them to back off!

Good Luck bro, but i think youll be fine. thumbsup.gif
